Founded by four families and a handshake in 1923, Willowbrook remains what it has always been: a course kept like a garden, a clubhouse that knows your name, and standards kept quietly, without ceremony.
Albert R. Whitcombe's routing has been touched only three times in a century — each time gently. Push-up greens, fescue framing every fairway, and not a single house on the property line.

A short menu done properly — trout from the valley, beef from two counties over, and a wine cellar assembled across four decades. Jackets suggested after six, never demanded.
Four-ball, first weekend of June, played for a trophy older than most members. Dinner follows, stories embellish.
Friday evenings, July through August. Nine holes at golden hour, then long tables under the willows.

Willowbrook keeps its membership small enough that the starter knows every swing. A limited number of candidacies are considered each year, sponsored from within or begun with a simple inquiry below.
